Started in 2003 by the dynamic Asheesh Dewan, Jaipur in Malahide is one of the four restaurants belonging to the Jaipur Group that has come to define creative, fine dining Indian cuisine in Ireland. Chic and new-wave, Jaipur personifies Indian hospitality and brings the finest Indian food to the Irish palate, staying true to the philosophy of bringing the ‘Essence of India’. Innovating through culinary creations that will form the traditions of tomorrow, while staying true to form.

Set in a Georgian Basement, Jaipur has beautiful stone walls, carefully restored to their original glory. Plush interiors and open floor seating create a serene setting for your perfect Indian meal. The menu is designed to showcase the best of locally sourced Irish produce, fresh ingredients with the finest of spices imported from the Indian sub-continent through partners who we have worked very closely with in the past two decades. Our Chefs aim to deliver only their best, and this can be seen in our seasonally changing menu while retaining your favourites. Our team ensures every dish that leaves the kitchen is packed with Indian flavours, cooked from the heart.

Our Food

Our culinary traditions are founded on principles of Ayurveda or good health and wellbeing that originated over 3 millennia. Taste, or Rasa, has a special significance in Ayurveda, as it is not only a potent instrument that governs how we experience our food but the overall flavour of our existence. 


According to ancient Ayurvedic wisdom, the six rasas - sweet, sour, salty, bitter, pungent and astringent help achieve a balance of body, mind and spirit.
